Our Mission

Monadnock Region

When asked what we do, our by-laws describe our purpose this way: “The Greater Monadnock Collaborative – Regional Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the commercial, industrial, educational, cultural, recreational and general welfare of New Hampshire’s Monadnock Region.”

The chamber engages the diverse segments of our regional economy with a common goal of creating a better business community, and a better community in which to live, work, visit and learn.

They have offices  located at 48 Central Square in downtown Keene, NH and 20 Grove Street, Peterborough NH.

The GMC-Regional Chamber of Commercer is primarily a volunteer-based organization that works to serve the needs of the membership through a variety of networking, educational, marketing and community service programs.

GMC is not a member of the US Chamber of Commerce.

Luca Paris (President/CEO), works along side an amazing team that includes Michelle DellaVita (Director of Development & Community engagement), Julie Schoelzel (Director of Regional Marketing), Krisite Dube & Kate Bruhmuller (Community Engagement Specialists).

When issues arise in the community where it is appropriate for the Chamber to take a public position, the following process will be followed:

1. The issue is brought to the President or an Executive Committee member;

2. The Executive Committee reviews the issue and, if there is consensus, the issue is brought to the full Board for discussion and decision;

3. The Executive Committee will gather and report information on both sides of the issue.
